The examination provides a specialist cardiologist with the evaluation of your heart and cardiovascular system and the presence of risk factors for the occurrence of cardiovascular disease.
The heart ultrasound is one of the most indispensable methods for evaluating the heart muscle and the most revealing of all other non-invasive cardiac examinations. With this examination, we evaluate the size of the heart, the heart muscle and valve function and the initial portion of the aorta and pericardium of the heart.
- Angiological examination – clinical examination by a vascular surgeon
The examination is performed by a specialist for veins to evaluate the health of the vascular and peripheral vascular system.
- Color Doppler sonography of neck, femoral and peripheral arteries
This ultrasound examination is used to evaluate the condition of the vascular system, discover early signs of thickening of the arterial walls and potential signs of atherosclerosis changes on the vascular system. We also evaluate the blood flow in upper and lower extremities, as well as to the brain.
- Final session with the analysis of risk factors and discovered abnormalities
