Essential preventive examination

  • Comprehensive laboratory blood and urine tests
Urine tests, sedimentation, haematological and biochemical blood tests are performed to determine a complete blood count and evaluate liver, pancreas and renal function, thyroid hormones, electrolytes, blood sugar, iron, cholesterol, and the prostate antigen for men (PSA).
  • Comprehensive internistic examination
An examination by a specialist internist including medical history and risk factor screening.
  • Anthropometric measurements with body composition analysis
The body mass analyzer allows us to define the structural distribution of fat and muscular tissue in the body, as well as to determine the basal metabolic rate of an individual.
  • Measuring the ankle-brachial index
The examination is used to detect any lower-extremity peripheral arterial disease.
  • ECG
An electrocardiogram is a graphical representation of your heart’s electrical activity.
  • Spirometry
Spirometry is a diagnostic procedure used to determine the pulmonary function.
  • Treadmill stress test
This examination is used to exclude or confirm the probability of ischemic heart disease and evaluate the cardiovascular capacity; at the same time, we monitor and evaluate the variation in blood pressure and heart function during the exercise.
  • Clinical examination by a cardiologist
Based on this check-up, a specialist cardiologist is able to evaluate your heart and cardiovascular system and the presence of risk factors that could lead to cardiovascular disease.
  • Echocardiogram
The heart ultrasound is one of the most indispensable methods for evaluating the heart muscle and the most revealing of all other non-invasive cardiac examinations. With this examination, we evaluate the size of the heart, the heart muscle and valve function and the initial portion of the aorta and pericardium of the heart.
  • Clinical examination by a vascular surgeon
The examination is performed by a specialist for veins to evaluate the health of the vascular and peripheral vascular system.
  • Color Doppler sonography
This ultrasound examination is used to evaluate the condition of the vascular system, diagnose early signs of thickening of the arterial walls and potential signs of atherosclerosis changes on the vascular system. We also use it to determine whether blood flow to the brain is adequate. The peripheral Doppler exam is used to determine whether the circulation of blood in the upper and lower extremities is appropriate and to diagnose a potential pathology of the arteries and veins in the legs.
  • Ultrasound of the abdominal organs, including a prostate exam for men and reproductive system exam for women
An ultrasound exam of the abdominal organs provides us with information about the condition of the internal parenchymatous organs (liver, gall bladder, gall ducts, spleen, pancreas, kidneys, adrenal glands, bladder, prostate, uterus, ovaries). At the same time, we examine large abdominal vessels (aorta) and retroperitoneal structures. The color Doppler enables us to approximately evaluate internal organ functions. We also briefly examine the alimentary canal to detect some specific ailments, especially inflammations.
  • Ultrasound examination of the pancreas gland and soft tissues of the neck
The ultrasound examination of the neck helps us evaluate the health of the thyroid gland, pancreas, soft tissue of the neck and discover potentially swollen lymphatic nodes in the neck area. Muscles and joints are usually examined after an injury. We evaluate surface tissues for any changes that can be felt.
  • Examination by an ophthalmologist
An ophthalmologist will evaluate your diopter, examine the eye’s background and perform an intraocular pressure measurement.
  • You can select one of the following clinical examinations:
Skin exam / Orthopaedic exam / Gastroenterological exam
  • Final session
After the examinations and check-ups, a medical specialist analyses the risk factors, any discovered abnormalities and symptoms; and provides a written assessment of an individual’s health with recommended treatments.
