What is an ENT clinic?

Otorhinolaryngology is a medical specialty that deals with diseases and disorders of the ears, nose, mouth, and throat. It is especially interested in people with hearing and balance issues, trouble breathing through the nose, nasal discharge, mouth and throat disorders, and voice problems.

The ENT clinic provides ear, nose, throat, and laryngeal exams, individual new hearing tests (ADG), and vestibular caloric testing.

Preparing for the exam

We recommend that you bring the results of any previous testing for abnormalities in the area being treated by the ear, nose, and throat expert.

If you have dried earwax in your ear canals and do not have an acute ear infection or a perforated eardrum, drip paraffin oil or A-cerumen into your ear canals three times a day for at least five days before your appointment.
